Detecting and predicting life events from online user activities
Life events represent important events in an individuals life; examples include marriage, change of city/employer, graduation, birth of a child, retirement. Life events have a deep effect on the individuals spending habits and purchase patterns. The ability of detecting (and, possibly, predicting) the occurrence of life events opens new up- and cross-selling opportunities for B2C companies.
